The Centre Miriam Users Committee helps users, parents, caregivers, and families understand their rights, share concerns, ask questions, and improve the quality of services and living conditions for the people served by Centre Miriam programs.

What The Users' Committee Does

The committee represents users of Centre Miriam rehabilitation programs and services for people with intellectual disabilities and autism spectrum disorders. We help users and families understand rights, raise concerns, and contribute to better services.

Inform

We help users and families understand their rights, obligations, and available paths for support.

Represent

We speak up for the collective rights and interests of users before the institution or other authorities.

Assist

We can accompany and assist users who ask for help, including when making a complaint.

Evaluate

We listen to users’ experiences and help evaluate satisfaction with services received.

Improve

We work toward better service quality and better living conditions for users.
